Surveillance: IPI has an experienced investigative team on staff that are thoroughly trained and familiar with all of the aspects of surveillance investigations including pre-surveillance steps, effective surveillance techniques, and legal issues if a trial arises and one of our investigators our required to testify. We diligently develop a plan for each surveillance case individually by carefully analyzing all the information that is available to our staff by forming various DMV records search, current addresses and phone numbers on every claimant. This will help us to formulate a better approach to every case and provides the best outcome for our clients.

Insurance Investigations

Workers Comp / Auto Liability / Slip and Fall / Medical Malpractice: These assignments involve the general scenario where a subject or claimant has been injured due to an auto accident, an accident at work, a slip and fall accident at an establishment or place of business or alleged malpractice on the part of a physician. Our goal in these cases is to document the subject/claimant in their natural environment. In other words to document the way they would act normally without knowing they are under surveillance. The years of surveillance experience in the field our investigators have allow us to accomplish this objective. The results of these cases will allow our clients to view an individual’s general range of motion and activities so that they may compare them with their alleged injuries or losses. We attempt to videotape the subject at every moment possible providing an unbiased documentation of their activities. We take pride in the honesty of our investigations and view ourselves as a neutral party. We are not trying to “catch” the claimant/subject doing something contrary to their claim. If an individual has exaggerated the extent of their injuries, the videotape will tell if the real story differs from their alleged claims or losses.

Mortgage Fraud Investigations

Mortgage Fraud Investigations: Our due diligence investigators are very skilled and trained in conducting detailed mortgage fraud investigations, background research; locate investigations, and financial asset investigations. We currently work closely with PMI Insurance companies, private banks and lenders. We believe that no claim should be paid without a detailed investigation that can prove fraud was detected during the loan origination. Our investigators are all knowledgeable of the loan application 1003 and all documents pertainimg to a closing.

Activity Checks

An Activity Check can quickly assess whether the claimant’s actual daily activities are consistent with the alleged injury and disability. Discrepancies may warrant surveillance.

Slip and Fall

When a slip and fall occurs anywhere it almost always becomes an insurance matter. Our investigators look into the details of how, where, why and when the incident occurred and try to determine the liability for damages, if applicable. The investigator will attempt to locate witnesses who may have seen what happened and secure signed statements from them. We will also photograph the scene of the accident and may commission an accident reconstruction using expert witnesses to establish the series of events leading up to the injury.

Employee No Compete Contract Investigations

These assignments involve a general scenario where an employee who has signed a no-compete contract, starts their own business and is suspected to have violated their no compete contract by stealing their former employer’s clients. Surveillance of these individuals in their natural environment will reveal whether they have violated their no compete contract as our investigators document each address they visit and videotape their general work activities throughout their work day. These investigations have proved especially successful for pest control and other service related businesses where workers visit the location of their customers.

Background Investigations

This investigation is utilized to determine the subject's character, reputation, employment status, civil history, criminal history, medical history and other specific research. Background Investigations are useful in the following areas: Pre-Employment, Pre-Marital, Pre-Dating, Business Relations, Nannies, etc.

Child Custody Investigations

Our investigators specialize in child custody investigations. In this instance, we can follow your spouse or ex during their scheduled visitation to determine unlawful or improper activity during the time your child is in their care. We can also follow your spouse or ex on their own free time to determine activities, lifestyle, living conditions and persons they associate with.

Pre Employment Screenings

Pre-employment Screenings:
We will conduct background investigation on an applicant to determine both prior civil and criminal history, etc.

Tenant Screenings

Tenant Screenings:
Check to see if your tenants are rent worthy. We check for prior evictions, felony convictions, sexual predator / offender, prior rental history, etc.
